THE DRIVES OF THE COAST Down the Coast over past the Vesuvius and Naples
CAPUA Its amphitheater, has best preserved underground area for you to explore. Time stands still as you walk the tunnels and trap doors where gladiators had been worming up for their final battle. A short walk away you will study an example of Mithreum, probably the best example in the Mediterranean , where roman leggionaires followed the cult brought from Persia .
In New Capua we will stop at the 11th century basilica of San Angelo in Formia. Its 12th century frescoes are some of the best in the south.
TIME FOR LUNCH You will agree with your driver where to have lunch and what to opt for
REGGIA DI CASERTA The palace has five floors; 1,200 rooms, including two dozen state apartments; 1,742 windows; 34 staircases; 1,026 fireplaces; a large library; and a theatre modelled after the Teatro San Carlo of Naples. A monumental avenue running 20 kilometers between the palace and Naples was planned but never realized.

Meeting point
Your English Speaking driver would pick you up at your accommodation along the Amalfi Coast, at the airport or train station on arrival, or where you prefer within the Amalfi Coast perimeter.
How to pay
No deposit required!
We accept payments in Traveler Cheques in Euro or USD. If you want to pay in USD we will calculate the accurate total, by using the stock exchange conversion rate Euro/USD of the day before the tour/transfer increased by 7 cents. We also accept credit card payments (Visa and MasterCard – No American Express) at the time of the booking, or at the end of each tour/transfer. Please note that if payments are operated with credit cards the total cost of the tour will be increased by 10 %.
We do not accept payments via credit card for amounts below 350 euros. If the payment is made with a credit card at the end of the tour/transfer you will be required to sign an one time payment authorization form, provided by us. If payment is made with a wire transfer the total cost will be increased by 10 %. If you decide to pay in cash you will be asked to pay your driver at the beginning or at the end of the tour/transfer. The Total will be indicated in your final contract.

You’ll be escorted by your English speaking driver who will explain all different points of interest. But please note that they are not guides. They cannot enter the sites with you by law.
