The private Venetian watertaxi is the core of this tour, offering a comfortable and scenic way to admire the western branch of the lake.
You will view historic villas, natural landscapes, and lakeside towns while your guide provides explanations throughout the journey.
Villa del Balbianello is the villa included in this tour, chosen for its panoramic gardens and popularity among visitors.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, when Balbianello is closed, the visit is replaced with Villa Carlotta, known for its botanical gardens.
Lunch is flexible and based on your preference.
Your guide will assist with restaurant recommendations and reservations.
Lunch is not included.
Bellagio is included, discovering its alleys, shops, and lakefront.
You may also choose to visit the gardens of Villa Melzi.
Together with your guide, you can choose to visit a different lakeside village instead of Bellagio.
At the end of the tour, your watertaxi returns to the original dock.
Your guide will assist you with directions back to your accommodation.

Meeting point
Your guide meets you at your hotel and accompanies you to the nearest dock to begin the tour.
If your hotel is not within walking distance of a dock, we will arrange a private transfer to the pier.
How to pay
No deposit required!
We accept payments in Traveler Cheques in Euro or USD. If you want to pay in USD we will calculate the accurate total, by using the stock exchange conversion rate Euro/USD of the day before the tour/transfer increased by 7 cents. We also accept credit card payments (Visa and MasterCard – No American Express) at the time of the booking, or at the end of each tour/transfer. Please note that if payments are operated with credit cards the total cost of the tour will be increased by 10 %.
We do not accept payments via credit card for amounts below 350 euros. If the payment is made with a credit card at the end of the tour/transfer you will be required to sign an one time payment authorization form, provided by us. If payment is made with a wire transfer the total cost will be increased by 10 %. If you decide to pay in cash you will be asked to pay your driver at the beginning or at the end of the tour/transfer. The Total will be indicated in your final contract.
If you want to pay in USD we will calculate the accurate total, by using the stock exchange conversion rate Euro/USD of the day before the tour/transfer increased by 7 cents Tickets to the Vatican and the Colosseum can be pre-purchased through us and the day of the tour your driver will hand them to you for a better and more efficient service.
Please note that the Villa tickets cannot be refunded under any circumstance
Our drivers
This is a private tour, so you won’t be sharing it with anyone else.
You’ll be escorted and guided throughout the day by your English-speaking private guide.
If your hotel is not within walking distance of a dock, the transfer service will be operated privately by one of our drivers at an extra cost.
