Description
Rome can be really overwhelming. It is really huge and so filled with history and art. For sure you need a week to start with, but this tour, led by Luca in person, will allow you to get focused on the core of Rome. You will be able to understand why Rome is and was so important!.
Activity details
PICK UP TIME 10:00 am to avoid big crowds at least in the first part of the morning.
THE BEGINNING Luca will start with an introduction. He will make you understand more about how Rome became so powerfull and such an amazing place to visit. YOU WILL START FROM LARGO ARGENTINA, where Julius Caesar was murdered.
COLOSSEUM and CIRCUS MAXIMUS Luca will drive up an higher point, facing the Colosseum. He will explain a lot about the Colosseum and you will be able to take pics as well. But you will for sure understand more. Done with the Colosseum, he will drive you past the Circus Maximus and you will stop there for pics as well.
THE HISTORICAL DRIVING-BY On the way to the next stop, your drive is going to be intense and breath-taking. You’ll go by the so-called “Road of the Temples” and over to the current heart of the city with the view of the Palatine Hill and Piazza Venezia with two very important monuments/sites (the so-called “Wedding Cake – or Monument dedicated to the first king of Italy and the view of the sadly famous balcony of Mussolini).
VIEW OF THE ROMAN FORUM Stop on a favored spot for the amazing view of where there were the commercial, political, economic, religious and social activities during the ancient Roman Civilization.
FLIEXIBILITY Of course the sites listed here above are in a perfect order. By seeing and learning about them, you would learn what Rome is. But within the 3 hours, you can choose to modify the itinerary and possibily include the Trevi Fountain, or the Spanish Steps, or other sites that you would prefer.

Meeting point
Your English Speaking driver would pick you up at your accommodation in Rome, at the airport or train station on arrival, or where you prefer within the city of Rome.
How to pay
No deposit required!
We accept payments in Traveler Cheques in Euro or USD. If you want to pay in USD we will calculate the accurate total, by using the stock exchange conversion rate Euro/USD of the day before the tour/transfer increased by 7 cents. We also accept credit card payments (Visa and MasterCard – No American Express) at the time of the booking, or at the end of each tour/transfer. Please note that if payments are operated with credit cards the total cost of the tour will be increased by 10 %.
We do not accept payments via credit card for amounts below 350 euros. If the payment is made with a credit card at the end of the tour/transfer you will be required to sign an one time payment authorization form, provided by us. If payment is made with a wire transfer the total cost will be increased by 10 %. If you decide to pay in cash you will be asked to pay your driver at the beginning or at the end of the tour/transfer. The Total will be indicated in your final contract.

Tickets to the Vatican and the Colosseum can be pre-purchased through us and the day of the tour your driver will hand them to you for a better and more efficient service.
Please note that the Colosseum tickets and the Vatican tickets are not refundable, beyond the terms stated, not even in case of the cancellation of your trip.
Our drivers
This is a private tour, so you will not be sharing it with anybody else!
You’ll be escorted by your English speaking driver who will explain all different points of interest. But please note that they are not guides. They cannot enter the sites with you by law.

You and your English speaking driver will talk about the day’s plans before the tour starts.
