Flying into Rome and out of Rome, it will make it so easy and cost effective! In 9 days and 8 nights, you & your group will be able to discover in depth all the best Rome as to offer. You will move to the Amalfi Coast. You will visit Sorrento, see Positano, Ravello & Amalfi. You will learn about Pompeii and Naples. Eat amazing food and take it all in!

    Itinerary

    Day 1 - Rome Arrival

    DURATION: up to 6 hrs from pick up at the airport

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME:  when the flight gets in – after collecting bags you will be directed through 2 sets of sliding doors to the outdoor. There you will see your driver/s with a sign and your name on

    WALKING: limited 

    TRANSPORTATION: Mercedes Minivans + English Speaking driver/s

    GUIDE SERVICE: none today

    HISTORY: provided by your English Speaking drivers

    1. Today, your English Speaking driver/s will pick you up on arrival at the airport. Most of the times the rooms at your hotel are ready only after 2 pm, so, this service will be just perfect for your needs.
    2. You will be escorted through the city to get an orientation of Rome, without stress or too much walking.
    3. You will stop for Capuccino, pictures and a nice lunch if you want to go for it.
    4. Up to 6 hours from pick up, you will have for sure an amazing initial touch of the Eternal City
    5. Check in and pm at your leasure.
    6. We can also organize on demand an evening activity, such as a driving tour of the lit up parts of the city

    Day 2 - Best of Rome & Vatican

    DURATION: 8.5 hrs

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 08.00 am

    WALKING: limited to the minimum but 2 hours at the Vatican and about 1 hour at the Colosseum

    TRANSPORTATION: Mercedes Minivans + English Speaking driver/s

    GUIDE SERVICE: at the Vatican for 2.5 hours

    HISTORY: provided by your English Speaking driver/s most of the day and private guide in the Vatican

    Today is the big day

    You will be picked up from your accommodation at 08.00 am and off for the amazing tour of the highlights of Rome

    1. You will start from the Colosseum, where, after the historical explanations provided by your drivers, you will have the possibility to enter this amazing monument. Of course skip the line tickets are provided, to limit the wait at the entrance and make the best out of it.
    2. You will proceed to the Circus Maximus, always driven by your English Speaking drivers. Photo up and history, lots of history
    3. You will combine some drive by and stop by, through the Road of the Temples, down to the core of the city (where you will see the monument dedicated to Victor Emanuel II)
    4. You will then visit the Trevi Fountain, where you will toss your coin, wishing to come back to Rome
    5. You will see the Spanish Steps
    6. Break for lunch
    7. 2.5 hour at the Vatican with a private guide. Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with skip the line tickets and St Peter’s Basilica from the outside or inside, depending on the line
    8. Back to your hotel

    Day 3 - Rome & Surroundings -

    DURATION: 7 hrs

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 08.30 am

    WALKING: limited to the minimum but 1 hr at the Catacombs and over 1 hour stroll in C. Gandolfo

    TRANSPORTATION: Mercedes Minivans + English Speaking driver/s

    GUIDE SERVICE: guided service at the Catacombs included in the cost of the tickets

    HISTORY: provided by your English Speaking driver/s most of the day and external guide at the Catacombs

    1. Your driver’s will pick you up at your accommodation and off towards the South of the city
    2. You will proceed to the Appian Way where you will step on the first highway ever built by humans in the World
    3. Off to the Catacombs – included in the cost of the tickets you will have an external guide service (guide who works for the Catacombs) and be escorted down in the tunnels where the early Christian were buried 
    4. Done with the Catacombs, we will drive South, outside Rome, towards the Roman Castles and reach briefly after Castel Gandolfo. Town where the Summer Residence of the Pope is located, in Castel Gandolfo you will have time to stroll around and have an amazing lunch, maybe overlooking the volcanic lake of Albano
    5. Back to your hotel

    Day 4 - Rome to Sorrento one way transfer

    DURATION: 3.5 hrs

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 09.00 am

    WALKING: limited as just a one way tranfser

    TRANSPORTATION: Mercedes Minivans + English Speaking driver/s

    GUIDE SERVICE: none

    HISTORY: provided by your English Speaking driver/s as running commentaries

    1. Your driver’s will pick you up at your accommodation, carry your bags on board and off Southbound
    2. You will be driving through highway 1, passing through the Campania Region
    3. You will drive past the Vesuvius, Volcano that covered Pompeii in lapillus. You will see also a portion of Naples
    4. You will approach the Amalfi Coast and reach Sorrento: your final destination for the day

    Day 5 - Orientation tour of the Amalfi Coast

    DURATION: 7 hrs

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 10.00 am

    WALKING: mediumd, you will be strolling around the towns that we cover

    TRANSPORTATION: Mercedes Minivans + English Speaking driver/s

    GUIDE SERVICE: N/A

    HISTORY: provided by your English Speaking driver/s 

    Sorrento, Positano and Ravello or Amalfi

    You will be picked up from your accommodation at 10.00 am and off for the amazing orientation of the Amalfi Coast

    1. You will start with an amazing ride up the Coast stopping for pictures and aiming at Positano
    2. You will arrive in Positano, after about 1 hour drive from Sorrento, and spend some time (close to 1 hour) to explore the town
    3. You will then go for lunch on a mountain that overlooks the bay of Positano. You will be served here amazing family-style lunch
    4. Done with food you will proceed on the second side of the Coast, up higher and you will decide with your drivers if seeing Ravello or Amalfi and, if time allows, even both of them
    5. Back to your hotel in Sorrento

    Day 6 - Cooking class in Sorrento

    DURATION: 4 hrs

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: Depends on availability

    TRANSPORTATION: on foot if your hotel is closed to the venue, or minivan transportation

    HISTORY: Your Chef will introduce you the history of the dishes cooked

    Day 7 - Day trip to Pompeii and Naples

    DURATION: 8 hrs

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 09.00 am

    WALKING: limited to the minimum but 2 hours at Pompeii + some strolls in the historical center of Naples

    TRANSPORTATION: Mercedes Minivans + English Speaking driver/s

    GUIDE SERVICE: at Pompeii for 2 hours

    Tradition, archeology and history

    You will be picked up from your accommodation at 09.00 am and off for the amazing tour of Pompeii and Naples

    1. You will start with a 2 hour private guided tour in Pompeii which you will reach after 1 hour drive from Sorrento
    2. Done with Pompeii you will meet again your driver/s and off to Naples.
    3. You will start with your lunch. Naples is the Empire of the Pizza. So, I guess, you will try out the real Pizza
    4. Done with your Pizza lunch, you will have time to stroll around the Spanish Quarters and Piazza del Plebiscito. 
    5. By 3.45 pm you will meet again with your driver/s and off back to Sorrento

    Day 8 - Sorrento to Rome via Monte Cassino - transfer

    You DURATION: 5 hrs

    Back to Rome

    You will be picked up from your accommodation at 08.00 am and back towards Rome

    1. After pick up you will drive north down the Coast and pass by Naples and the Vesuvius
    2. After about 2 hour drive you will approach Mount Cassino and its Abbey. Amazing WWII history in there. You will be amazed by its charme
    3. You will meet again with your drivers and, after another 1.5 hour drive you will reach your accommodation in Rome

    Day 9 - Rome to FCO - departure transfer

    DURATION: 45 minutes

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 4 hour circa before the flight departure, depening on where your accommodation is located

    You will be picked up from your accommodation 4 hour before your flight leaves

    Once we tweak the itinerary and have the right number of passengers, the price will be determined.

    Are you escorting your group? We will work around it in order to have you tour for free of course!

    This is a private tour, so you will not be sharing it with anybody else, just you and your group!
    You’ll be escorted by your English speaking driver/s who will explain all different points of interest. But please note that they are not guides. They cannot enter the sites with you by law. Where walking guides are needed, we will include them of course!

    How many passengers per vehicle?
    The ideal number is 6 passengers for each vehicle – if multiple vehicles are needed, rest assured that the group will be together at all times.
