    Itinerary

    Day 1 - Rome Arrival

    DURATION: up to 6 hrs from pick up at the airport

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME:  when the flight gets in – after collecting bags you will be directed through 2 sets of sliding doors to the outdoor. There you will see your driver/s with a sign and your name on

    WALKING: limited 

    TRANSPORTATION: Mercedes Minivans + English Speaking driver/s

    GUIDE SERVICE: none today

    HISTORY: provided by your English Speaking drivers

    1. Today, your English Speaking driver/s will pick you up on arrival at the airport. Most of the times the rooms at your hotel are ready only after 2 pm, so, this service will be just perfect for your needs.
    2. You will be escorted through the city to get an orientation of Rome, without stress or too much walking. Or else we could move to Tivoli you have been to Rome already to visit the charming Villa D’Este.
    3. You will stop for Capuccino, pictures and a nice lunch if you want to go for it.
    4. Up to 6 hours from pick up, you will have for sure an amazing initial touch of the Eternal City or its surrounding
    5. Check in and pm at your leasure.
    6. We can also organize on demand an evening activity, such as a driving tour of the lit up parts of the city

    Overnight in Rome

     

    Day 2 - Best of Rome & Vatican

    DURATION: 8.5 hrs

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 08.00 am

    WALKING: limited to the minimum but 2 hours at the Vatican and about 1 hour at the Colosseum

    TRANSPORTATION: Mercedes Minivans + English Speaking driver/s

    GUIDE SERVICE: at the Vatican for 2.5 hours

    HISTORY: provided by your English Speaking driver/s most of the day and private guide in the Vatican

    Today is the big day

    You will be picked up from your accommodation at 08.00 am and off for the amazing tour of the highlights of Rome

    1. You will start from the Colosseum, where, after the historical explanations provided by your drivers, you will have the possibility to enter this amazing monument. Of course skip the line tickets are provided, to limit the wait at the entrance and make the best out of it.
    2. You will proceed to the Circus Maximus, always driven by your English Speaking drivers. Photo up and history, lots of history
    3. You will combine some drive by and stop by, through the Road of the Temples, down to the core of the city (where you will see the monument dedicated to Victor Emanuel II)
    4. You will then visit the Trevi Fountain, where you will toss your coin, wishing to come back to Rome
    5. You will see the Spanish Steps
    6. Break for lunch
    7. 2.5 hour at the Vatican with a private guide. Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with skip the line tickets and St Peter’s Basilica from the outside or inside, depending on the line
    8. Back to your hotel

    Day 3 - Full Day Unusual Rome

    DURATION: 7 hours

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 08.00 am

    WALKING: limited to the minimum (about 1 hour in the Catacombs)

    GUIDE SERVICE: N/A

    More to see, the lesser known parts of Rome

    1. Your driver’s will pick you up at your accommodation and off towards the Southern Section of Rome
    2. You will start by visiting the Appian Way
    3. Done with it, you will proceed to the Catacombs, where, included in the cost of the entrance ticket, you will be escorted down in the tunnel by a guide that works for the Catacombs
    4. We will reach then the Valley of the Aqueducts
    5. Back in the van and off for lunch 
    6. You will in the pm the Basilica of St Paul outside the Walls
    7. You will end up with an amazing look out point
    8. Your driver/s will escort you back to your hotel

    Overnight in Rome

    Day 4 - Rome to Tuscany winery (Via Montepulciano)

    DURATION: 5.5 hrs

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 07.30 am

    WALKING: limited in the town of Montepulciano

    TRANSPORTATION: Mercedes Minivans + English Speaking driver/s

    GUIDE SERVICE: none

    HISTORY: provided by your English Speaking driver/s 

    1. Your driver’s will pick you up at your accommodation, carry your bags and after about 2 hours, you will reach the town of Montepulciano
    2. You will spend Montepulciano about 2 hours. The first hour visiting the town
    3. You will then start a tour to a wine cellar (built in an Etruscan Tomb) and try out 3 of their wines with some light snacks
    4. You will meet again with your drivers and continue to the winery in Tuscany near San Gimignano
    5. You will check in
    6. Evening dinner + wine tasting

    Day 5 - Full day at the winery

    DURATION: 8 hours and more

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 9.45 am

    WALKING: Moderate, only in the pm at San Gimignano

    TRANSPORTATION: Mercedes Minivans + English Speaking driver/s

    GUIDE SERVICE: Chef for the cooking class + enologist for the wine tasting + truffle hunter master

    You will be picked up at your accommodation at 09.45 am

    1. You will meet your driver/s at your accommodation and off to the main winery
    2. You will start a truffle hunting section
    3. You will start a cooking class and of course eat your food with some more wine to taste
    4. In the PM you will visit San Gimignano for about 1.5 hrs
    5. You will have an amazing dinner at the second restaurant on property

    Day 6 - Tuscany to Rome (with stops in Pienza & Orvieto)

    DURATION: 8 hours

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 9 am

    WALKING: only at the 2 towns

    An Amazing ride with amazing stops on the way

    1. You will meet your drivers at the hotel of the winery ready to head back to Rome
    2. After about 2 hour drive you will reach Pienza, the town of the chease. You will spend here about 1 hour and stroll around the town
    3. You then leave for Orvieto, which you will reach after about 1 hour
    4. You will have here in Orvieto about 2 hours to stroll around and have lunch
    5. Back in the van and back to Rome
    6. Check in at your hotel in Rome

    Day 7 - Departure transfer

    DURATION: 45 minutes

    SUGGESTED PICK UP TIME: 4 hours before the flight leaves

    At the airport it is very easy to find your drivers. After you collect bags, you will be directed through 2 sets of sliding doors to the outdoor. You will see then a line of drivers with signs and names on. You will find your driver/s there, ready to start

    Once we tweak the itinerary and have the right number of passengers, the price will be determined.

    Are you escorting your group? We will work around it in order to have you tour for free of course!

    This is a private tour, so you will not be sharing it with anybody else, just you and your group!
    You’ll be escorted by your English speaking driver/s who will explain all different points of interest. But please note that they are not guides. They cannot enter the sites with you by law. Where walking guides are needed, we will include them of course!

    How many passengers per vehicle?
    The ideal number is 6 passengers for each vehicle – if multiple vehicles are needed, rest assured that the group will be together at all times.
